Cholesterol lowering drugs besides statins

This basically happened to me. My wife had a hysterectomy at 40 and took Premarin for a number of years which is a form of hormone replacement therapy. I stopped taking stains and the FDA and medical folds are slowly changing their thinking on cholesterol - better late than never.
